Overview
Nile Quest is designed as a floating hotel, allowing travelers to explore Upper Egypt without repeatedly changing accommodation. The ship was launched in 2002 and underwent extensive renovation in 2006, including updates to its cabins and public areas. Published specifications describe panoramic windows, individually controlled air-conditioning, private bathrooms, swimming pool, Sun Deck, gym, lounge, restaurant, internet access, and other onboard services.
The standard 4-night itinerary begins in Luxor and ends in Aswan, following the traditional Nile route through Edfu and Kom Ombo. This makes it particularly convenient for travelers who want to combine Luxor’s ancient monuments with the temples and scenery of southern Egypt.
